The Industry of Southeast Texas consists of several companies that are located in and near Port Arthur. They have sites in Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange counties and employ local workers from surrounding citys such as Nederland, Port Arthur, Port Neches, and Beaumont. These companies provide employment for the area and are a substantial part of the local economy.
